On Friday 1st February 2018, Richard Harrington MP visited the switchgear specialist in Watford Business Park to meet with the Founder and Managing Director, Keith Hall, and his team. My Harrington had a tour of the site where he met several engineers who were building and designing bespoke switchgear systems for projects all over the country.
The Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC) has granted Prism Power Group accreditation to the Fit for Nuclear (F4N) standard. Not only will this bring in new opportunities for the business, it will also provide their customers with the additional reassurance that they meet the strictest standards in providing quality power solutions.
Prism Power Group was established over ten years ago and now employs almost fifty people in the local area, including 4 new apprentices.
Richard Harrington, MP for Watford and Minister for Business and Industry, said:
“Despite the snow, I made it to Watford Business Park to visit Prism Power Group, a specialist in electric switchgear and power systems, employing nearly 50 people in our area. Congratulations on being certified as Fit 4 Nuclear.”
