On Thursday 28th September 2017, Richard Harrington MP invited residents from Watford to Parliament for a tour and Q&A with him.
Over 60 local residents attended and the Watford MP showed them the House of Commons and House of Lords Chambers, as well as St Stephen’s Hall, Central Lobby and Westminster Hall. Watford residents also had the opportunity to ask the MP any questions they might have on local, national or international issues.
Richard Harrington MP will be hosting another tour of Parliament on Thursday 30th November 2017, with a coach leaving from Watford at 5pm. Email richard@richardharrington.org.uk for details.
Richard Harrington, MP for Watford, said:
“Thanks to everyone who came along for a tour of Parliament and a chat with me. It was a fun evening, and as usual, a really interesting discussion. When I first became the MP, I was surprised how few people had visited Parliament, especially as we are so close! That’s why I organise tours of Parliament, with a coach leaving from Watford, every month or so. I’ve organised another one for the 30th November, so please get in touch for details.”
