This summer Richard is once again running his work experience programme, aiming to get young people more involved and interested in politics. Over 50 local people have signed up.
Over the course of two weeks, participants will visit Parliament and the Conservative Campaign Headquarters, meet local politicians, and take part in debates They will gain a valuable insight into local politics, whilst gaining new skills, making new friends and learning about local campaigning.
The first of three programmes to be run over the summer successfully concluded last week. The remaining two will be taking place throughout August.
