Watford Community Exchange’s Action Day is fast approaching, and time is running out to register for your free place.

Watford Community Exchange has been set up by Richard Harrington MP to help local charities and organisations get the help from the local community, and to encourage people to get involved in a way they may never have thought of before.
A key part of the Exchange is the Action Day taking place on Friday 15th February at the Youth Point Centre, Lower High Street Watford. Local charities and organisations are invited to attend for free to access useful workshops, free networking and professional support and advice from the Charity Surgery. There will also be information about finding funding and accessing support, volunteers and members.

Support Your Sector workshops to improve links and communication with other local charities
Speed Networking with businesses and organisations who have funding to offer, or who want to give their time to help our community and local charities
Rt Hon Nick Hurd MP the Minister for Civil Society is on hand to answer your questions about Big Society Capital and support for the third sector
Free information on how to locate funding and attract volunteers from organisations such as W3RT, NCVO and Social Enterprise UK – as well as local businesses and groups who offer funding and grants
