On Saturday 4 February, Richard Harrington MP held a public meeting for local residents at Carpenders Park Community Hall, Gibbs Couch, WD19 5EZ.
Over 50 people attended, along with Conservative County Councillor Frances Button, Councillors David and Valerie Coltman, Councillor Shanti Mashru and Councillor Eric Bishop.
A range of local issues were discussed including schools, the hospital and the condition of roads. Residents also asked the Watford MP some questions about the brexit negotiations as well as their pensions.
Richard Harrington MP said "I'm grateful to all the residents and councillors who came along. Amongst other things, I enjoyed discussing my plan for Watford and getting feedback from my constituents. I actually held my first ever public meeting in Carpenders Park over seven and a half years ago, in October 2009!"
