Watford MP Richard Harrington has been celebrating the towns Fairtrade status as they enter their fifth year as a Fairtrade Town.
Visiting the stalls in the Harlequin Centre today, Richard was able to see the wide variety of Fairtrade products on offer and learnt more about the ways people can get involved with Fairtrade.
Richard said:
“It was a real pleasure to visit the Fairtrade stand and learn more about the work and ethos of the movement. Watford should be really proud to be a Fairtrade town and a lot of people work very hard to maintain this status.
“I look forward to seeing more and more individuals and companies embrace Fairtrade and to see Watford go from strength to strength as a Fairtrade town.”
