On Friday 22nd June, Richard Harrington MP visited Gateville, a construction company based in Watford, to learn about the business and discuss the work they are doing in the community.
Gateville carries out refurbishment and new build predominantly in the social housing sector. They have been based in Watford since 2012 and the CEO has over 30 years of experience in the construction sector.
They are also a growing business and are set to exhibit at Richard Harrington’s annual jobs fair, which will be in September later this year.
Mr Harrington met the CEO and staff at their offices on Imperial Way. The Federation of Master Builders were also in attendance to discuss the construction industry more widely, as Mr Harrington is a Minister at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
Richard Harrington said:
“I enjoyed meeting Bogdan and the team at Gateville. We spoke about how the company has grown, and their upcoming work in the local area.
I often think I’ve visited every business in Watford, and then I come across another one! But that’s just a testament to our thriving business community.
I’m pleased that the company is growing, and that Gateville will be attending my jobs fair in September to look for staff.”
