Last month, Richard Harrington MP announced that the next Watford Jobs Fair will be on Thursday 13th September at the Langley Banqueting Suites, Watford High Street, between 10am-4pm.
Since then, over thirty local companies have been in touch, interested in hosting a stall at the fair. Mr Harrington welcomed this and said: “I’m pleased that there’s already been a lot of interest in the Watford Jobs Fair. This is an annual event which gets great feedback every year, and so I’m not surprised that the stalls are filling up fast.”
Richard Harrington MP is founder of the Watford Jobs Fair and this year marks the eighth fair he has held. Over 4,000 people came to the last fair to look for a new job, change careers or get their foot on the career ladder.
A wide range of local companies have already signed up to look for staff, including John Lewis, Medtronic, Hilton, Toad Hall Nursery, Ricochet Media, McGinley and the Royal Mencap Society.
On the day, there will be a variety of jobs and apprenticeships on offer, with companies recruiting for roles in finance, retail, care, IT and more. There will also be part time, full time and casual work available.
