Richard Harrington is pleased to confirm that further funding has been agreed for further investment in the Watford Health Campus which will drastically improve NHS provision in Watford and regenerate the local area.
This latest investment has come from the Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) which has given the money as part of the Government’s Going for Growth Fund, designed to kickstart local infrastructure projects.
The money will be used alongside other investments that have been made recently by this Government, meaning that work can soon start on the Development that has been on the cards since 2006.
Richard said:
“ This is wonderful news for the Health Campus, and Watford as a whole. More investment will allow this project to really get going after too many years of deliberations and delays under the last Government.
Over the last couple of months, this Government has invested significantly in Watford, allowing progress on projects that will benefit Watford for decades to come. I look forward to continuing to work with all parties involved, to get the best and quickest results for local people.
