After months of talks, Richard Harrington MP has secured Government funding for two big projects that will transform the future of the town - the Croxley Rail Link and the Health Campus Road.
Richard said, “Getting these projects started was one of my top priorities as Watford’s MP. I will now work with partner groups and the people of Watford so that the projects benefit all residents. This includes working with Mayor Dorothy Thornhill to look at ways to keep the current Met station open”.
Both projects will help to regenerate deprived parts of town, create growth for the future and are vital steps in securing the new Health Campus. These developments, alongside new and existing facilities such as Leavesden Studios and BRE Building Research, prove that Watford is world class.
Coming soon: Watford’s Big Idea
Richard is delighted to see these projects become a reality and believes now is the time for another idea to transform Watford - your idea.
