Watford biggest jobs event is back, and this year, 70 local companies will be there advertising for over 1000 jobs.
Richard Harrington MP is founder of the Watford Jobs Fair and this year marks the eighth fair he has held. Over 4,000 people came to the last fair to look for a new job, change careers or get their foot on the career ladder.
The fair is a day-long event linking local companies with vacancies to those looking for a job. With thanks to sponsors Camelot and intu Watford, the fair is completely free for those looking for a job and exhibiting companies.
A wide range of local companies will be there to look for staff, including intu, Warner Bros, John Lewis, Medtronic, Hilton, Toad Hall Nursery, Ricochet Media, YO! Sushi and the Watford Observer! Visit the website to view the full list.
On the day, there will be a variety of jobs and apprenticeships on offer, with companies recruiting for roles in finance, marketing, law, retail, care, IT and more. There will also be part time, full time and casual work available.
Richard says:
“When I organised the first Watford Jobs Fair I didn’t imagine just how successful it would prove to be. The Watford Jobs Fair has grown to presenting over 1000 vacancies, offering one-to-one support, interactive trials and workshops.
This year we have a host of new employers coming, with a variety of roles, so it’s well worth coming along to, even if you’ve been before! I’m really looking forward to next week’s fair and hope to see many of you there.”
